Sur un terrain de 46 hectares dans un vallon bucolique on d\u00e9couvre 10 497 croix, une chapelle n\u00e9oclassique de 20 m\u00e8tres de haut avec une grande statue de Saint-Nabor (patron de Saint-Avold) au-dessus de la porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e. \u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, sur le mur au-dessus de l\u2019autel, on voit cinq statues, de gauche \u00e0 droite : le roi David, Constantin le Grand, le Vaillant Guerrier, le roi Arthur, Georges Washington. De chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 du m\u00e9morial, sur un mur sont grav\u00e9s 444\u00a0noms de soldat dont les corps ne furent pas retrouv\u00e9s.
