{"id":2374,"date":"2017-08-14T17:24:30","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T15:24:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lorrylesmetz-histoire.fr\/?page_id=2374"},"modified":"2017-08-15T12:37:09","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T10:37:09","slug":"a-03","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/lorrylesmetz-histoire.fr\/?page_id=2374","title":{"rendered":"Visite du mus\u00e9e du sel \u00e0 Marsal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>29\u00a0juillet\u00a02009<\/h2>\n<p>Lorry-l\u00e8s-Metz \u00ab\u00a0au fil du temps\u00a0\u00bb a visit\u00e9 le mus\u00e9e du sel \u00e0 Marsal, dans le Saulnois.<\/p>\n<p>Ce mus\u00e9e a vu le jour en\u00a01973, il est abrit\u00e9 dans l\u2019une des deux anciennes portes fortifi\u00e9es, dite Porte de France, magnifique b\u00e2timent du XVII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle, vestige des fortifications de Vauban.<\/p>\n<p>Il est consacr\u00e9 au sel gemme. On peut y d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019histoire du sel \u00e0 Marsal et dans le Saulnois de la pr\u00e9histoire \u00e0 nos jours, \u00e0 travers les techniques de production par \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.salines.com\/lexique\/\"><em>briquetage<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u00bb. C\u2019est une vision d\u2019ensemble de l\u2019histoire du sel que le mus\u00e9e propose\u00a0: la mine, les mares sal\u00e9es et leur flore halophile, la po\u00eale \u00e0 sel, etc., jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la chimie du sel.<\/p>\n<p>Il abrite \u00e9galement une importante collection de sali\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>On p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans une grande cour int\u00e9rieure o\u00f9 sont expos\u00e9s machines et outils ayant servi au d\u00e9but du XX<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle \u00e0 l\u2019extraction du sel\u00a0: forage et pompage du sel pr\u00e9alablement dissous.<\/p>\n<p>Puis on entre dans le mus\u00e9e par un escalier o\u00f9, de salle en salle, c\u2019est l\u2019histoire du sel, mais aussi celle de Marsal et du Saulnois qui sont \u00e9voqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Marsal n\u2019a pas toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 le village qu\u2019il est aujourd\u2019hui. Pour prot\u00e9ger l\u2019exploitation de cet \u00ab\u00a0or blanc\u00a0\u00bb ainsi que pour sa position strat\u00e9gique, Marsal a \u00e9t\u00e9 fortifi\u00e9e depuis le XIII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle. Elle a \u00e9veill\u00e9 les convoitises des ducs de Lorraine, des ev\u00eaques de Metz et des rois de France. Le sel y a \u00e9t\u00e9 exploit\u00e9 depuis le premier mill\u00e9naire avant J\u00e9sus-Christ, par la technique du\u00a0briquetage dont les \u00e9l\u00e9ments arch\u00e9ologiques d\u2019importance (class\u00e9s monuments historiques) sont les t\u00e9moins les plus anciens de l\u2019activit\u00e9 salicole en Lorraine.<\/p>\n<div id=\"metaslider-id-2650\" style=\"width: 100%; margin: 0 auto;\"
