Se posait de base la question de savoir si l\u2019\u00e9difice avait pu servir de temple au moment de la R\u00e9forme. Le fait que la visite de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00eaque de Metz, Monseigneur d\u2019Aubusson de la Feuillade (25 juin 1673) se soit faite sans qu\u2019il soit proc\u00e9d\u00e9 auparavant \u00e0 une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de purification de l\u2019\u00e9glise, permet, selon Julien L\u00e9onard, historien au CRUL, de dire que l\u2019\u00e9difice n\u2019a pas servi de temple. Un fait vient \u00e9tayer cette affirmation : dans les ann\u00e9es post\u00e9rieures, un protestant ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 enterr\u00e9 au cimeti\u00e8re, on entoura sa tombe d\u2019une grille et une purification eut lieu pour resacraliser le lieu de repos catholique. Fran\u00e7ois Courtade a fait lecture et a comment\u00e9 les \u00e9crits de l\u2019abb\u00e9 Jacquemin, traitant de l\u2019\u00e9rection en paroisse de Lorry-l\u00e8s-Metz-Vigneulles.<\/p>\n<p>Ne pouvant encore offrir le verre de l\u2019amiti\u00e9 en fin de conf\u00e9rence, l\u2019association a remis \u00e0 chaque auditeur un marque-page souvenir.<\/p>\n<p>Photos Claudine et G\u00e9rard
